Junior Finance Analyst

Marks Sattin is seeking a highly skilled Junior Finance Analyst to join their team. As a Junior Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in various financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable: Process and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Posting Sales and COS: Accurately post sales and cost of sales transactions in the general ledger.
  • Payment Runs: Coordinate and execute payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Accruals and Prepayments: Accurately record accruals and prepayments, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collating Data for KPIs: Gather and analyze data to produce key performance indicators (KPIs) for the finance team.
  • Month-End Production and Reporting: Assist in the production of month-end financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Working on Multiple Entities: Manage and analyze financial data for multiple entities across the UK and US.
  • Quarterly VAT Returns: Process and submit quarterly VAT returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
