Job Summary

The Polaris Community is seeking a highly skilled Supervising Social Worker to support our foster parents and young people in the Watford and Milton Keynes area. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading provider of children's services in the UK.

Key Duties
  • Support foster parents and their families to achieve the highest possible outcomes for children and young people.
  • Monitor the continued suitability and competence of Foster parents through regular home visits and assessments.
  • Collaborate with the Commissioning Teams to develop and implement individual packages of care for children and young people.
Essential Requirements
  • Holding professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to write high-quality reports and contribute to case files.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to travel extensively and occasional overnight stays.
  • Full driving licence.
Compensation and Benefits

As a member of our team, you can expect an estimated annual salary of £43,000 - £48,000, along with additional benefits including:
