About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Team Leader to join our team at Solent Hotel & Spa. As a Restaurant Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our busy hotel restaurant, including serving food and drinks, taking orders, and looking after guests.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Serve food and drinks, take orders, and look after guests
  • Take control of rotas, ensuring the right people are on shift to handle the level of business
  • Manage and develop the skills of your team, ensuring staff levels on shift meet payroll budgets
  • Be the point of call for any management issues
  • Motivate your team to provide exceptional service, leading by example

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience of working in a busy restaurant, with exposure to supervisory or management duties. You will need to be proactive, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations, and comfortable with rolling up your sleeves and getting involved with service.
