As a Key Account Manager at SIG plc, you will be responsible for the strategy and delivery of results against a specific customer type, specifically expanding our range of products and securing new opportunities while enhancing the profit return.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain account plans for designated key accounts.
  • Maintain clear records of client interactions using SIG's systems.
  • Support Regional and Divisional performance by using customer insight to provide input into wider strategic forums.
  • Interface with branch and hub staff to facilitate high-quality end-to-end service for customers.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a business-to-business sales role within the construction industry, preferably in the Roofing Market.
  • Ability to negotiate favourable terms and influence customers to move towards more profitable product mixes.
  • Strong Customer Focus and in-depth understanding of operations and sales processes.
  • Proven Sales and Negotiation ability.
  • Good listener, highly motivated to deliver results.
  • Personally well-organized, good planner with structured problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
