About the Role
We are seeking an experienced German Payroll Lead to join our dynamic team in Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full employee payroll process from preparation to monthly financial reporting for our 600+ employees in the region. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate and timely reflection of payroll submissions while working closely with our Finance and People teams.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full employee payroll process, including preparation, records maintenance, and monthly financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with our external payroll partner to drive the monthly payroll process for Via in Germany.
  • Ensure accurate and timely calculation of benefit deductions and tax withholdings.
  • Perform periodic audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy of employee pay information.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant payroll experience in Germany.
  • Fluent German and English language skills, with additional languages being a plus.
  • Tech-savvy, with a strong understanding of HRIS systems like P&I Loga and proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel.
