Job Title: Community Development Officer

We are seeking a Community Development Officer to join our team at Radius Housing. As a key interface with tenants, you will deliver housing support services and help build sustainable communities.

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will have a good general level of education and at least 5 GCSEs or equivalent. They will also have experience working within a local community environment, addressing anti-community behaviour and issues, and partnership working with voluntary, community and statutory agencies.

**Responsibilities:**

* Deliver housing support services to tenants* Build sustainable communities through partnership working* Ensure environments within and around our properties and estates are clean and safe* Work with colleagues to meet performance standards*

**Requirements:**

* Good general level of education and at least 5 GCSEs or equivalent* Experience working within a local community environment* Addressing anti-community behaviour and issues* Partnership working with voluntary, community and statutory agencies* Relevant recent experience in a housing/social/care/welfare caretaking role* Awareness and recent experience of issues impacting on community development* Knowledge of Housing Associations and services provided* Current full driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport*
