Apprentice Pharmacy Professional

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our pharmacy team as an apprentice pharmacy technician. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of pharmacy services, working closely with experienced professionals.
About the Role:
- To work in the pharmacy department, rotating through different sections and gaining experience in all aspects of the pharmaceutical service.
- To attend a college of further education on a day-release basis or virtually depending on the selected education provider.
Main Responsibilities:
Key Duties:- To read and adhere to the Trust's and Pharmacy's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policies.
- To attend Mandatory Trust and Regional Pharmacy training and education study days.
- To perform reception duties in the absence of pharmacy support workers.
- To dispense prescriptions for hospital inpatients and outpatients, discharge prescriptions, and Controlled drugs for all service users.
Person Specification:
- 4 GCSEs Maths, English, Science and one other subject at grade C (4) or above.
Salary: This apprenticeship offers a competitive salary range of £20,380 to £21,835 per year, reflecting the industry standards and the importance of compensating individuals fairly for their contributions.
