We are seeking to appoint an Associate Director of Operations for the Division of Diagnostics, Therapeutics and Cancer Services (DTC), at Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional who can demonstrate a successful track record of delivering effective healthcare services as a senior manager in a large, multifaceted organisation. The post holder must be able to develop and manage relationships with external partners and have a successful track record in the delivery of operational and clinical services, including meeting operational and financial targets. They must also be able to develop and implement strategy, with a successful track record of delivering real change.
The post holder will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and Divisional Director and will work as a member of the leadership triumvirate alongside the Divisional Chief Clinical Professional Lead to ensure high quality, efficient and effective patient care.
DTC is large and complex; it includes services that are crucial to the safe and effective running of the trust, including Outpatients, Pharmacy, Endoscopy, Radiology and Therapies.
The postholder will support the transformation programme across North West Surrey Alliance, through the Complex Care and Borough Wide Business Unit, to deliver improvements in the provision of non-urgent complex care, specialist therapy services and diagnostics across the North West Surrey footprint. The postholder also acts as the key operational interface with Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services and works closely with regulators and system partners across a number of key service areas.
The post holder will lead a team of operational and clinical managers who support the specialties and services across the division.
