Role Overview
Paddle is seeking an accomplished Event Planning Expert to support our global expansion efforts. As a key member of our marketing team, you will design and execute a diverse portfolio of events that align with our broader marketing strategy.

About the Role
This 1-year maternity leave cover contract is ideal for a seasoned event professional with experience in managing virtual, hybrid, and in-person events. You will work closely with our Creative, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing teams to ensure all events meet our brand standards and contribute to our international expansion goals.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and execute event strategies that drive business results
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, booth design, and supplier relationships
• Develop and track event budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution and optimal resource allocation
• Oversee technical aspects of virtual and hybrid events, including webinar platform management and audience engagement
• Maintain a comprehensive events calendar and manage multiple workstreams
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, agencies, vendors, and executive leadership

Requirements
• 3-4 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or management
• Demonstrated experience with demand generation and thought leadership events
• Proven track record in managing virtual, hybrid, and in-person event formats
• Strong budget management and tracking capabilities
• Excellence in project management and multi-tasking

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the technology industry or SaaS sector
• Knowledge of event marketing strategies and audience growth tactics
• Data-driven mindset with experience in performance metrics analysis and optimization
