Social Worker Job Description

This role involves working with families in care proceedings where drugs and alcohol are a significant issue. The successful candidate will provide expert independent assessment and support to help families achieve positive outcomes.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Social Worker, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works collaboratively with other professionals to achieve best practice. You will conduct assessments, make recommendations, and provide timely and effective intervention to support families.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with experience in care proceedings, Child Protection, and Child in Need
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multi-agency settings

What We Offer:

  • $55,000 - $59,000 per annum, depending on experience
