An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and passionate Family Support Worker to join the Adoption Recruitment, Assessment and Family Finding Team at Northamptonshire Children's Trust.
As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the task of family finding for children with a plan for adoption in the care of the Trust. This involves working closely with the adoption team to generate and provide key pieces of digital material, such as videos, photos and art, to create Family Finding profiles.
You will also undertake direct work with children and families in preparation for transitions, and work with multi-agency colleagues in arranging Life Appreciation Days. The role may require some flexibility, including evening and weekend work to support family finding activities and events.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with the ability and skills to undertake direct work with children and families, and to work collaboratively with colleagues from other agencies and services. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and have experience of working directly with families and children.
The salary for this part-time role is approximately £23,500 per annum, plus benefits. If you are passionate about supporting children and families, and have the necessary skills and qualifications, we would welcome your application.
