We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our Adoption Recruitment, Assessment and Family Finding Team. As a Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the task of family finding for children with a plan for adoption in the care of the Trust.

Working closely with the adoption team, you will develop and implement effective strategies to find permanent families for children. You will also undertake direct work with children and families in preparation for transitions, and work with multi-agency colleagues in arranging Life Appreciation Days.

The salary for this part-time role is approximately £23,500 per annum, plus benefits. Our benefits package includes 28 days annual leave, plus 8 Bank Holidays (pro rata for part time) and an additional 5 days after 5 years, local government pension scheme, immediate life cover, employee assistance programme, employee discounts, flexible and family working arrangements, and career development opportunities.
