Family Hub Community Development Specialist

Job Overview:
Kent County Council is seeking a Family Hub Community Development Specialist for Folkestone and Hythe District.
This role involves building and strengthening local Family Hub networks, collaborating with partners and community organisations to develop services for children, young people, and families.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing community engagement strategies to inform Family Hub services.
- Recruiting and managing volunteers to lead peer-to-peer groups and other Family Hub activities.
- Fostering community empowerment, addressing inequalities, and encouraging active participation.
Key Requirements:
- A high level of organisational skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
- Effective communication skills for working with children and their families.
- Ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate effective participation and engagement opportunities.
Working Conditions:
This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
