Safety Governance Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Patient Safety function, ensuring that systems thinking, human factors understanding, and just culture principles are embedded in all patient safety processes across the organisation.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead, line-manage, and develop the incident investigation team, ensuring they are properly trained, appraised, and developed.
  • Support the shift of focus towards identifying system failures, analysis of Human Factors, and promoting a Just Culture within the Trust.
  • Provide expert guidance on patient safety investigation methodology and support subject matter experts in completing learning responses.

£90,000 - £110,000 per annum.
