Role Overview

The Production Coordinator plays a vital role in the efficient operation of our production department. This position ensures adherence to the defined production plan, actively liaising with process Supervisors to mitigate risk of missed completion dates. Providing feedback to the production manager on potential delays or capacity overloads is essential to re-planning or customer notification.

This role is responsible for reporting on departmental KPIs specific to WiP control and efficiency. Additionally, generating production documentation required for the production teams is a key aspect of this position.

  • Assist in achieving department, individual, and team KPI's within specified metrics set by the Production Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Production Planner to ensure accurate and achievable production plans.
  • Liaise with Production Supervisors and the Production Planner to achieve all planned shipments.
  • Liaise with Account Managers and attend weekly order book reviews to ensure the order book is current and reflective of production.
  • Generate and provide production reports for the Production Manager to review, aligned with department PPIs and KPIs.
  • Produce production documentation required for the shop floor.
  • Support departmental improvement projects under the guidance of the Production Manager, involving cooperation from supporting functions.
  • Provide administrative support to Production and the Production Manager.
  • Intermediate IT skills, with experience using MS Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment – ideally a contract Electronic Manufacturer is desirable.

Benefits
