Job Overview

Assist the Production Manager in ensuring efficient operation of the production department through adherence to the defined production plan.

Liaise with process Supervisors to ensure works orders are on schedule, mitigating risk of missed completion dates.

Take a proactive review of upcoming planned works orders by liaising with all supporting functions.

Provide feedback to the production manager of any potential delays / capacity overloads to allow re-planning or customer notification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to ensure department, individual and team KPI's are achieved within specified metrics as set by Production Manager.
  • Work with the Production Planner to ensure the production plans are accurately set and achievable.
  • Liaise with Production Supervisors and Production Planner to achieve all planned shipments.
  • Liaise with Account Managers and regularly attend weekly order book reviews to ensure the order book is current and reflective of production.
  • Generate and provide production reports for Production Manager to review in line with department PPIs and KPIs.
  • Generate Production documentation required for shop floor.
  • Support with departmental improvement projects under guidance from Production Manager, involving cooperation from supporting functions.
  • Provide administrative support to Production and Production Manager.
  • Intermediate IT skills, with experience of using MS Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment – ideally a contract Electronic Manufacturer is desirable.

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
