The Job

We are currently seeking a Care and Housing Advisor to join our team in Plymouth. This role will involve working with clients who have experienced domestic abuse, providing them with the support and guidance they need to lead fulfilling lives.

Your Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to promote social inclusion and independence.">
  • Collaborate with statutory and non-statutory agencies to ensure clients receive comprehensive care and support.">
  • Promote safe working practices by conducting risk assessments and implementing legislative frameworks.">
  • Provide financial assistance and benefit management services to clients.">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will possess a background in supported living or a similar field, along with experience in working with victims of domestic abuse. A strong understanding of housing management, including voids and arrears management, is essential. Additionally, you must have excellent interpersonal and customer care skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
