About this role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Leadership Position for our Extra Care Scheme in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership, support, and supervision to our care staff, ensuring the highest level of care is delivered to our service users.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead a team of care staff in providing high-quality care services to our service users.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our service users.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to health and safety, medication management, and data protection.
- Work closely with other departments, including training, to ensure all care staff receive and maintain up-to-date relevant training.
- Collaborate with landlords and housing teams to ensure consistent levels of service and safety are maintained within the scheme.
- Ensure accurate and legible records are kept, and maintain all care plans and care records in accordance with Cera policy.
- Support the orientation and onboarding of new starters within the scheme.
- Provide on-call escalation support for the contracted Extra Care scheme and provide assistance and direction to staff in an emergency situation.
