Care Service Lead

About the Role
As a highly skilled and dedicated professional, you will be responsible for leading our care team in providing exceptional support to individuals in their own homes. This is an exciting opportunity to join Cera Care, a fast-growing company that empowers people to live their best lives through technology, professional care, and support.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide leadership and support to the care staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
- To ensure that care is provided in accordance with current best practices, policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
- To promote the dignity, respect, independence, and choice of service users, enabling them to make informed decisions about their care.
- To work closely with landlords and housing teams to ensure consistent levels of service and safety.
- To maintain accurate records of care plans, risk assessments, and medication management.
- To provide on-call escalation support for the contracted Extra Care scheme.
What We're Looking For
- A degree or diploma in Health and Social Care, or a related field.
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in elderly care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for delivering person-centred care and promoting the well-being of service users.
