Job Description

The Medical Department Head will oversee the administration and operations of the Departments of Medicine and Critical Care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Management: Establishes and achieves financial goals, monitors performance, and ensures ongoing financial success.
  • Clinical Program Management: Participates in implementing clinical care goals, develops initiatives for care improvement and cost reduction, and manages programmatic activities.
  • Research Administration: Monitors clinical research development, submission, review, and notification; directs administrative planning for new research revenue sources.
  • Human Resources: Serves as the Department resource for HR policy issues.

Qualifications

We require a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5-7 years of experience in administration or management, preferably in an academic or community hospital setting. Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Compensation

The estimated salary range is $125,000 - $190,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
