About the Role:

As a Clinical Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough medical assessments of individuals to determine their eligibility for benefits. With your extensive clinical expertise, you will work closely with patients to understand their medical history and perform physical examinations. Your detailed reports will be instrumental in helping the Department of Work & Pensions make informed decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments to evaluate an individual's functional abilities
  • Collaborate with patients to gather detailed information about their medical history and symptoms
  • Perform physical examinations to assess an individual's condition
  • Produce accurate and concise reports for the DWP

Requirements:

  • NMC Level 1 Registered Adult Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years
  • Experience working with adults in various clinical settings, including surgical, medical, A&E, community, and practice nursing
  • IT skills and experience using a range of software
  • Self-aware and focused on professional development
