Lead Anesthesiology Physician

About the Role:

South Shore Health System is seeking an experienced and skilled Anesthesiology Physician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the growth and development of our anesthesia services.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Perform anesthesia procedures for a variety of surgical cases, including vascular, orthopedic, general, gynecological, thoracic, neurological, pediatric, and obstetric surgeries
  
• Collaborate with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide comprehensive anesthesia care
  
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans tailored to each patient's unique needs
  
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology from the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
  
• Current ACLS certification and BLS certification
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Anesthesiologist, preferably in a hospital-based setting
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  
• A strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service
  

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $400,000 - $600,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including:
