Medical Transport Specialist

We are seeking a Medical Transport Specialist to join our team at South Shore Health System. This is a weekend day position, every Saturday and Sunday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
In this role, you will be responsible for transporting patients and equipment within the hospital, handling gas cylinders and oxygen administration devices, answering phones, and dispatching services.
You will also be responsible for picking up patients and transporting them to designated areas, bringing code carts to designated units upon request, transporting x–ray reports and medical records, safely handling gas cylinders and oxygen administration devices, and logging calls and informing departments of patient departure and return.
The ideal candidate will have previous hospital experience and be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English. They will also be able to be on their feet for most of their shift.

Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
