Advanced Life Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Life Support Specialist to join our team at South Shore Health System. This role is responsible for providing primary care and advanced life support to critically ill and injured patients.
As an Advanced Life Support Specialist, you will be responsible for examining, screening, treating, and coordinating health services for patients. This includes conducting post-hospital release follow-up care, patient education, and developing reports for the Community Paramedic Program.
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and compassionate individual with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine, screen, treat, and coordinate health services for patients.
- Conduct post-hospital release follow-up care, including monitoring medication, dressing changes, and checking vital signs.
- Conduct patient education, including diabetes prevention/treatment, hypertension, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), falls assessment, injury evaluation, geriatric frailty visits, and nutrition.
- Develop and complete appropriate reports and templates for the Community Paramedic Program.
- Maintain records of vehicles, supplies, training, and daily work.
