Home-Based Support Specialist

Sonderwell is seeking an experienced Client Focused Care Assistant to join our team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with complex needs.
Job OverviewYou will be working as a live-in carer, providing person-centered care to our clients within their own homes. This involves living with your client for 2 weeks at a time, offering support and companionship during this period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing person-centered care to clients with complex needs
- Living with clients in their own homes for 2 weeks at a time
- Staying in the property with clients at all times, apart from allocated breaks
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- A full driving license due to location requirements
Our clients may have conditions such as learning disabilities, autism, PBS, seizure management, oxygen therapy, and a small dog present at times. You'll receive training and support to ensure you feel confident and prepared for these roles.
