Youth Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Youth Support Specialist to join our team at The Lily Housing Project. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to young people aged 16-21, helping them to achieve their goals and become independent members of society.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day running of our projects in Weymouth, Dorchester, and Ferndown.
- Ensure all current and newly referred residents receive person-centered support promoting independence and emotional health and wellbeing.
- Provide direct support to residents following the Steps To Independence support planning process.
- Maintain consistency in service delivery and create a homely environment for young people to live in.
- You must be passionate about making a difference in young people's lives and have experience in dealing with challenging situations or behaviors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective communication with children, families, colleagues, and external organizations.
- A driving license is required, and ideally, you should have experience as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar setting, holding or working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- A competitive salary of £38,000 - £40,000 per annum, including sleep-in rate.
- A Welcome Bonus of up to £1,500 (T&Cs apply).
