Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Dementia Support Specialist to join our team in Hillingdon. As a key member of our Dementia Advice team, you will provide personalized support to individuals diagnosed with dementia and their carers. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a unique opportunity to work closely with our partnership service providers to source further opportunities and raise awareness among marginalized communities.

About the Role
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to individuals with dementia and their carers, supporting them to access relevant services and benefits.
  • Work closely with our Senior Dementia Adviser to develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for people with dementia and their families.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote early diagnosis, prevention, and effective care for people with dementia.
Requirements
  • You will have a strong understanding of dementia and its impact on individuals and their families.
  • You must be IT competent, with experience of collecting and using data systems.
  • Able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and ages.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £35,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
