Role Overview
">- This position is a specialist nursing role that requires the ability to work with people affected by dementia and their families.
The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting individuals with complex needs and providing holistic nursing assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver regular clinical sessions for families affected by dementia.
- Provide specialist nursing assessment and support using the Admiral Nurse Assessment Framework.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to improve identification and management of co-morbidities and frailty.
- Support people with dementia, carers/families, and staff to understand and respond to changes in behavior and relationships as a result of dementia.
- Care coordination for a clinical caseload of families with complex needs.
- Develop own competence through use of the Admiral Nurse Competency Framework.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is £44,577 - £69,932 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN/RNMH/RNLD) qualification.
- Evidence of continued professional development/training in dementia care.
- Commitment to continued professional and practice development through Dementia UK's Admiral Nurse Academy.
- Post-registration clinical experience supporting people with dementia and their carers/families.
