About the Role

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Specialist to join our team. As a Data Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data recorded in our hospital information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data quality checks to identify errors and inconsistencies in administrative and clinical patient data.
  • Collaborate with the Information team to resolve queries and ensure data quality standards are met.
  • Run routine data quality reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of NHS data definitions and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with staff at all levels to ensure data quality standards are met.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of medical terminology and NHS data.
  • Experience working with hospital information systems and NHS data.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
