Job Title: Head of Compliance Monitoring

Howden Group Holdings is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Compliance Monitoring team. As a key member of our Risk, Legal & Compliance function, you will be responsible for providing compliance oversight across our UK&I structure, ensuring we maintain compliance with industry and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver robust monitoring frameworks, methodologies, and programs.
  • Manage assigned projects and contribute to other projects as required.
  • Provide timely and relevant management information to the Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Management.
  • Contribute to the development of our Compliance Plan.
  • Work with senior operational management to ensure compliance systems and controls remain appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Risk Management Function to deliver support in relation to regulatory risk.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Policy Advisory/Monitoring/Remediation/Assurance across different aspects of financial services/financial markets.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA requirements, particularly in relation to health, benefits, and life products, within both ICOBs and COBs.
  • Good understanding of FCA requirements in relation to investment, pension, and mortgage products.
  • Ability to apply judgment from a regulatory perspective to internal and market information.
