At Equiniti, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our Corporate Actions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of Corporate Actions tasks, managing complex procedures, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Task Specialists in ensuring procedures are followed within an ISO 9001 framework, regulations are adhered to, and risks are assessed and mitigated.
  • Assess and develop new procedures or variations as needed, ensuring they are documented and implemented.
  • Perform parts of the Corporate Actions process, particularly linked to governance, and identify and resolve issues.
  • Organize and deliver training to less experienced team members, provide feedback, and cover for the Technical Manager during periods of absence.
  • Work autonomously and/or in conjunction with the Technical Manager and other teams as required.

Requirements:

  • Develop and maintain Corporate Action product and Stock Market expectations knowledge.
  • Embrace procedures and the ISO mindset to ensure consistency and audit adherence.
  • Develop and maintain good PC skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Governance driven, ensuring appropriate processes are followed, authorities obtained, and risks mitigated.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be proactive, self-motivated, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Professionalism, Integrity, and Empathy.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy; self-checking.
  • Be organized – management of multiple tasks and conflicting priorities.
  • Commitment to Improvement – of processes, and yourself.
  • A willingness to work up and outside of your role.
