Technical Specialist

We are committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients, and we are seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of Corporate Actions tasks, which can be complex and require a high level of technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Task Specialists to ensure procedures are followed within an ISO 9001 framework, regulations are adhered to, risks assessed and mitigated, and tasks meet required Service and Quality Standards.
- Assess bespoke tasks to determine if new procedures or variations are required, and develop, document, and implement these as needed.
- Perform parts of the Corporate Actions process, particularly linked to governance, and identify and resolve issues.
- Organise and/or deliver training to less experienced team members, and provide feedback to Task Specialists line management for use in PDRs and Skills assessments.
- Work autonomously and/or in conjunction with the Technical Manager and other teams as required, and cover for the Technical Manager during periods of absence.
- Identify and deliver Continuous Improvement initiatives, be aware of and support Management Information, support Corporate Actions queries, and lead related development projects.
- Develop and maintain Corporate Action product and Stock Market expectations knowledge.
- Embrace procedures and the ISO mindset to ensure consistency and audit adherence.
- Develop and maintain good PC skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Governance driven to ensure appropriate processes are followed, authorities obtained, and risks mitigated.
- Good verbal and written communications skills to internal and external stakeholders, clear and logically presented.
- Be proactive, self-motivated, and maintain a positive attitude.
