Job Title: Technical Specialist

We are committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients, and we are seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of Corporate Actions tasks, which can be complex and require a high level of technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Task Specialists in ensuring procedures are followed within an ISO 9001 framework, regulations are adhered to, risks assessed and mitigated, and tasks meet required Service and Quality Standards.
  • Assess the bespoke nature of tasks and develop, document, and implement new procedures or variations as required.
  • Perform parts of the Corporate Actions process, particularly linked to governance, and identify and resolve issues.
  • Organise and/or deliver training to less experienced team members, provide feedback to Task Specialists line management, and cover for the Technical Manager during periods of absence.
  • Work autonomously and/or in conjunction with the Technical Manager and other teams as required, and identify and deliver Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Develop and maintain Corporate Action product and Stock Market expectations knowledge.
  • Embrace procedures and the ISO mindset to ensure consistency and audit adherence.
  • Develop and maintain good PC skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Governance driven, to ensure appropriate processes are followed, authorities obtained, and risks mitigated.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be proactive, self-motivated, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Professionalism, Integrity, and Empathy.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy; self-checking.
  • Be organized – management of multiple tasks and conflicting priorities.
