Business Development Executive

At Calor Gas, we are seeking a skilled Business Development Executive to join our team. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in generating new sales leads from brand new markets and establishing relationships with industry experts, manufacturers, and specifiers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay up to date with industry news and knowledge
  • Generate leads from OEMs and establish new partnership schemes
  • Reach out to equipment manufacturers to develop products to run on our sustainable fuels
  • Update Calor Staff on our sustainable fuels journey, new partnerships, and changes/updates within the LPG industry via quarterly meetings
  • Explore and research potential new markets to bring to the business
  • Qualify high-value leads and larger installs and assist field sales in the sign-up
  • Educate and gain interest from customers onto our Futuria fuels portfolio – Bio LPG/DME and consult with our sustainable fuels team to set pricing
  • Pipeline management
  • Attend relevant trade shows and conventions
  • Handover of accounts to region/national sales/internal sales once a relationship has been established
  • Increase sales leads by constant communication with their network
  • Closely work with the Sales force – from internal sales to the field sales teams, in order to meet the lead generators' expectations
  • Continually update product and safety knowledge
  • Contribute to the Calor safety culture by ensuring acting in a safe and responsible manner
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing assets to be used to promote Calor and its products to the domestic and commercial specifier community
  • Produce Management reports as and when required (frequency and content to be determined)
  • Assist in preparing and attending shows and exhibitions
