Sales and Business Development Professional

Sphera Solutions, a global leader in environmental health, safety, and technology innovation, is seeking an ambitious and driven Sales and Business Development Professional to join its fast-growing sales team. This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your exceptional sales skills, passion for growth, and ability to engage with clients on a global scale.
CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, plus commission. As a key member of the sales team, you will have the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions based on your performance.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves both proactive outbound calling to engage with potential clients and following up on marketing inquiries. Your primary goal will be to set appointments for our global salesforce, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with peers and business partners to develop and execute sales strategies.
- You will proactively seek out new business opportunities through outbound calling, consulting, and setting appointments for field sales executives.
- You will focus on developing and managing outbound campaigns and business development activities, including calls, emails, and social media engagement.
- You will leverage consultative sales methodologies to analyze client needs and address their changing automation requirements.
- You will use current technology to develop and manage follow-up cadences, systematically nurturing potential leads that are not yet ready to purchase.
- You will participate in interactive training sessions to stay up-to-date with Sphera solutions, sales, and industry trends.
- You will consistently achieve and/or exceed daily activity and sales targets.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A dynamic personality with excellent communication skills, able to engage potential clients over the phone.
- Experience working with clients/customers in a sales-oriented environment, preferably with experience selling over the phone and cold calling.
- Adaptability and the ability to think on your feet, handling new challenges and tough conversations with confidence.
- A bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing; or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ year of sales experience, with a successful track record in solution-based selling environments highly preferred.
- Software and/or software as a service (SaaS) product sales experience highly preferred.
- Business to Business (B2B) sales experience highly preferred.
- Fluency in German and English.
