Position: Business Development Sales Specialist
Salary: £27,500 - £31,500 per annum + Commission
Location: Office Based in Leamington Spa
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Business Development Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team based in Leamington Spa. This office-based role will focus on account management of matured existing accounts, providing primary internal support to the Sales Director in advancing business opportunities and managing the account portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow an assigned portfolio of existing accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Foster strong relationships with customers and internal team members through regular communication via phone, email, and occasional face-to-face meetings.
- Build rapport with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Initiate conversations with customers to gather information and provide tailored solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between the Sales Director's activities on the road and the internal office systems to facilitate efficient account progression.
- Accurately capture customer requirements to translate them effectively into bespoke packaging solutions.
- Collaborate with the internal operations team to meet customer needs in a timely manner.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must be confident, motivated, and results-driven with a strong commercial acumen.
- Prior experience in telesales or business development is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel with excellent IT skills.
- Awareness of SAP is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work independently, prioritising tasks effectively throughout the day.
- Meticulous attention to detail and understanding of customer requirements, particularly in a packaging or technical product context.
