Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to students with complex needs, including PMLD and challenging behaviour. This will involve working in a class of 4-6 pupils, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs. The role will also require the ability to use communication methods such as PECs and Makaton.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • Previous experience supporting children with PMLD, complex needs, and challenging behaviour
  • One-to-one and small group work
  • Professional manner and enthusiasm
  • In-date manual handling training
  • Desirable: Training in tracheostomy and PEG feeding
A keen interest in SEN and a commitment to providing high-quality support are essential for this role.
