About the Role

Reeson Education is seeking a Special Education Assistant to work 1:1 with a Reception pupil with high emotional needs at a primary school in West London.

Job Summary

This role involves providing tailored support to help the child build confidence and emotional resilience, while promoting a sense of inclusion and encouraging participation in class and social activities.

Responsibilities
  • Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and engagement in learning activities.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SEN team to create a supportive environment.
  • Provide individualized support to meet the child's needs.
  • Encourage participation in class and social activities.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a calm, nurturing, and patient approach who can adapt quickly and work independently or as part of a team. Experience working in an EYFS setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
