About the Role

We are recruiting a Special Education Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Reception pupil with high emotional needs at a primary school in West London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote emotional regulation and engagement in learning activities.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to create a supportive environment.
  • Provide tailored support to help the child build confidence and emotional resilience.
  • Foster a sense of inclusion and encourage participation in class and social activities.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an EYFS setting, preferably supporting children with high emotional needs, Autism, or other additional needs. A calm, nurturing, and patient approach is essential, along with the ability to adapt quickly and work independently or as part of a team.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of £28,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
