Support Assistant for Children with Special Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Support Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs at Booker Park School in Buckinghamshire.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pupils during lunchtimes, assisting with self-care, feeding, and personal hygiene. This includes interacting with pupils on the playground, promoting good behavior and encouraging social skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist pupils with self-care, including feeding and personal hygiene
  • Support pupils on the school playground, promoting good behavior and social skills
  • Work collaboratively with the Catering team and classroom staff as required

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will be a caring and patient individual who is able to work effectively with children with special educational needs. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to provide high-quality administrative support as required.
