Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our client school in Northolt, Ealing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing 1:1 and group support to children with Autism, following their individualized Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide targeted interventions to pupils with Autism, focusing on social, emotional, and academic development.
  2. Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's needs.
  3. Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to regular reporting and assessments.
  4. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in SEN support.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant experience working with children with Autism in primary school settings.
  • Valid DBS check on the Update Service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
