Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

Gap Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team. As a RMN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to adults and young individuals facing mental health challenges, eating disorders, and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate RMN to provide specialized support to individuals with mental health illness, eating disorders, and CAMHS. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and deliver top-notch nursing care to service users in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized support to individuals with mental health illness, eating disorders, and CAMHS
  • Conduct thorough assessments using the single assessment process, risk assessment tools, and mental state examinations
  • Develop and implement care plans to deliver high-quality nursing care
  • Offer a range of evidence-based therapies, including bereavement counselling, medication management, anxiety management, relaxation techniques, and problem-solving strategies
  • Oversee and advise on psychotropic medications for service users, monitoring their effectiveness and any adverse reactions

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • Valid NMC Pin
  • PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) or restraint training
  • Enhanced DBS
