Job Title: Payroll Implementation Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Implementation Advisor to join our team at Portfolio Payroll Limited. As a key member of our payroll implementation team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional payroll solutions to our education sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Communicate effectively with clients to gather and clarify necessary information and data
  2. Configure and test payroll accounts to meet client specifications
  3. Conduct payroll parallel runs and provide support as needed
  4. Create tailored report packages for clients, including payroll journals
  5. Perform system audits to ensure payroll compliance
  6. Provide support for payroll system updates, including modifying account establishments
  7. Adhere to information security policies and GDPR protocols
  8. Offer general data and administrative support as needed

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  1. Proven experience in payroll within a high-paced environment, managing end-to-end payroll processes
  2. Experience with payroll parallel runs, identifying and resolving discrepancies between payrolls
  3. Current knowledge of payroll and pension regulations
  4. Familiarity with computerized payroll systems and implementation processes, including system configuration
  5. Strong understanding of payroll-related compliance and audits
  6. Demonstrated project management abilities
  7. Capacity to manage multiple customer payroll configurations
  8. Capability to build and maintain excellent relationships with clients
  9. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  10. Strong data management and analysis capabilities with a keen eye for detail
  11. Aptitude to comprehend and interpret client requirements
  12. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
  13. Willingness to travel within the UK occasionally
