We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Alliance Administrator with Devon and Cornwall Police. Key Responsibilities- Administer elements of defined processes, following specific procedures and established force or national professional/function-area standards.
- Maintain paper or electronic record systems, updating or amending records in line with organisational policy and procedural guidelines.
- Update and interrogate databases, downloading data and manipulating or presenting information in an appropriate format.
- Provide support to the Superintendent/Head of Department in diary management and other administrative activities.
- Take responsibility for a portfolio of administrative work or specific key tasks, working with limited supervision.
- Provide administrative support to meetings and events, including booking venues, sending meeting requests, and taking notes.
- Respond to telephone and face-to-face enquiries, providing a customer-focused response and specialist knowledge or subject matter expertise.
- Create, update, and format word documents and basic spreadsheets for managing and monitoring activity and general correspondence.
- Undertake general office duties, including making travel arrangements, raising debtor invoices, and dealing with seized cash.
- A competitive salary with yearly increments.
- 25 days a year leave entitlement, with an increase to 30 days after 5 years continuous employment, plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time workers).
