Job Description

This role is ideal for a senior professional with 12+ years of experience in global sports marketing and agency or client-based roles. The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of high-level client partnerships, focusing on Formula 1, Formula E, and MotoGP.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in amplifying sports partnerships across the marketing spectrum, with a strong focus on integrated marketing planning and hospitality delivery at a global level. Strong relationship-building skills are crucial, along with a proactive mindset for introducing innovative ideas and perspectives.

A confident approach, with the ability to create and present ideas and strategies directly to clients with clarity and assurance, is essential. This role demands international travel, approximately 5-6 strategically key events per year.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the primary escalation point and trusted advisor to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  2. Drive strategic direction and activation of partnership programs across markets, ensuring alignment with client objectives and fostering collaboration within the integrated account team.
  3. Lead, manage, and inspire the account teams to excel on the delivery of all work streams, ensuring alignment between account teams, operations, and the agency's strategic objectives.
  4. Set client service standards and processes for the account teams.
  5. Ensure thorough understanding of relevant client contracts to support delivery, renewal, and growth conversations.
  6. Identify high-level opportunities for cross-selling and upselling across the client portfolio via client review sessions.
  7. Collaborate in a timely manner with internal stakeholders to capitalise on growth opportunities through strategic pitches and key client issues.
  8. Manage budget negotiations with the client for the forthcoming year and its subsequent management, including internal budget setting, resource allocation, utilisation rates, and regular client reporting.
  9. Overall client satisfaction across multiple accounts, ensuring growth and retention.
