Child Psychology Support Specialist

A supportive and inclusive secondary school in Edware, North London, is looking for a Psychology graduate keen to gain some experience with young people. This role would suit a Psychology graduate with a good understanding of SEMH needs, looking to gain practical experience. This role is for a full-time, long-term position, involving working 1-1 with a student with SEMH needs.
This position requires the ability to work with children aged 11-16, operating classes in various subjects and helping children with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (or closely related subject) and an interest in working with children, particularly those with SEN/SEMH.
Additional responsibilities include treating children with respect and kindness. The successful applicant must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check on the update service. A competitive salary will be offered, commensurate with experience.
