Child Development Leadership Role
SENIOR SPIRIT OF ROSELLE PARK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Development Leader to join our team. As a key member of our nursery leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursery practitioners, planning and participating in group-led activities, and developing strong relationships with children and families.

As a Child Development Leader, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our children and their families. You will be responsible for:
• Planning and delivering high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of all children, including those with special educational needs.
• Leading a team of nursery practitioners, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent care and education to our children.
• Building strong relationships with children and their families, supporting their learning and development, and involving them in their child's progress.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting to relevant authorities as required.

To be successful in this role, you will require:
• NVQ Level 3 in Child Development or equivalent.
• Experience of working with under fives.
• Experience of planning and supporting play provision, supported by evidence-based approaches outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Knowledge of EYFS and understanding of safeguarding issues and procedures.
• Understanding of the Ofsted Children's Centre requirements/frameworks.
• Knowledge and understanding of working with children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• A good knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity issues.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including industry-leading rates of pay, training and development opportunities, and discounted gym membership.
