Child Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Whittington Health.
This is an exciting opportunity for a enthusiastic and motivated individual to work in Barnet mainstream schools and special schools, providing a comprehensive Speech and Language Therapy service to children and young people across the borough with a range of language and communication needs.
As a key member of our therapy team, you will work closely with school staff to embed inclusive speech, language and communication practice within the classroom, and support children with identified special educational needs.
About the Role- To deliver assessment and intervention for children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs.
- To provide a comprehensive Speech and Language Therapy service to clients referred with speech, language and communication difficulties within mainstream schools and special school in the borough.
- To work closely with school staff to embed inclusive speech, language and communication practice within the classroom.
Salary: £34,500 - £46,305 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience, plus benefits including NHS pension scheme, annual leave entitlement and flexible working options.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Diploma, Degree or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Registered Member of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists.
- Health and Care Professions Council Registration to Practice.
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent standard of literacy and numeracy.
