Job Description
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures, aligning with the trust's goals and objectives.
- Manage employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions, in a fair and transparent manner.
- Support the HR team in implementing strategic HR projects, driving business outcomes and improving workforce engagement.
- Assist with recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Conduct training sessions on HR policies and procedures, promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.
- Manage and maintain HR records and reports, providing insights to inform business decisions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Advisor should have:
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- A solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience in an HR Advisor role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
- Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
- A passion for delivering exceptional HR services and supporting the trust's mission.
