Job Description

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures, aligning with the trust's goals and objectives.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions, in a fair and transparent manner.
  • Support the HR team in implementing strategic HR projects, driving business outcomes and improving workforce engagement.
  • Assist with recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Conduct training sessions on HR policies and procedures, promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.
  • Manage and maintain HR records and reports, providing insights to inform business decisions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • A solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience in an HR Advisor role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional HR services and supporting the trust's mission.
