Job Title: Money Support Advisor

Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP) is seeking a skilled Money Support Advisor to join their successful Income Recovery Team in Boston. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in assisting the Income officers in the collection of income by providing a comprehensive support service to customers in the collection of arrears and dealing with customer enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of cases and support customers in arrears, including setting up basic bank accounts and maintaining clear and concise case records.
  • Ensure legal compliance of all LHP policies and procedures in the income recovery process, maximizing income to achieve and exceed business plan targets.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers, local courts, and stakeholders, ensuring customers can access available services to manage their homes and contribute to their communities.
  • Signpost complex cases internally or to external agencies for relevant support.
Requirements:
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Effective partnership working skills, including relationship building, negotiation, and influencing
  • Experience working within a housing or public sector environment
  • Knowledge or experience of applying income recovery procedures and legislation through legal enforcement processes
